Undercity is a zone in World of Warcraft: Forever, on the continent of Eastern Kingdoms. It is the capital of the Forsaken and a Horde city, built beneath the ruins of Lordaeron.
Districts
[edit | edit source]The city is divided into quarters:
- Trade Quarter: vendors, the inn, auctioneers and the stable master.
- War Quarter: weapon merchants, trainers and blacksmiths.
- Rogues' Quarter: rogue trainers, poison vendors and leather armor merchants.
- Magic Quarter: spell trainers, wand vendors and enchanting suppliers.
- The Apothecarium: alchemists, the herbalism trainer and the Royal Apothecary Society.
- Royal Quarter: Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, Varimathras and the battlemaster.
History
[edit | edit source]World of Warcraft: Forever follows on from Forsaken Kingdom, a new Warcraft III campaign that lets players experience the fall of Lordaeron and the creation of the Undercity. It also introduces the Forsaken Paladin, one of Forever's departures from the original World of Warcraft.
Ruins of Lordaeron
[edit | edit source]In Forever the ruined capital above the city is a dungeon, the Ruins of Lordaeron (levels 15–20, in Tirisfal Glades). The Forsaken are trying to reclaim parts of their former city while the Scourge still linger in its halls. It is a Horde-side dungeon, though Alliance characters can find their own way in.
