Best in slot

PvP

Beta data (build 1.60.1). Picks and sources may change before launch on 4 November 2026.

Priority: Weapon damage first, and here the sword beats every dagger: with no Vanish at 20 you get one Ambush per fight and Sinister Strike after that. Then Stamina, then Agility. Strength is worth half as much as Agility; Intellect and Spirit are worthless. Forever lets rogues use axes, but axe skill starts at 1, so an off-hand axe misses until it's levelled.

Talents: Assassination 9 / Combat 2 / Subtlety 0

PvE

Beta data (build 1.60.1). Picks and sources may change before launch on 4 November 2026.

Priority: A slow main hand so Sinister Strike hits hard, with a fast off hand alongside. Then Agility and any flat critical strike. Stamina hardly matters and Intellect and Spirit are wasted. Axe skill starts at 1 in Forever, so an off-hand axe misses until it's levelled.

Talents: Assassination 3 / Combat 8 / Subtlety 0
