Hillsbrad Foothills (Zone)

Hillsbrad Foothills
Continent	Eastern Kingdoms

Hillsbrad Foothills is a zone in World of Warcraft: Forever, on the continent of Eastern Kingdoms. Its quests run from about level 22 to 33, and most of them are handed out by the Forsaken at Tarren Mill.

Overview

The Forsaken hold Tarren Mill, where Apothecary Lydon is testing the Dark Lady's New Plague on the local wildlife, the humans of Hillsbrad and anyone else who will do. High Executor Darthalia, who answers to Varimathras, is fighting a running war with the human town of Hillsbrad: raiding the farms of Hillsbrad Fields, hunting down named "dangerous" humans, and putting bounties on members of the Syndicate gathering in the ruins of Durnholde Keep.

Further afield, dwarves from Dun Garok harass Forsaken scouts, and a necromancer known as Atrexis the Grave Knight is raising undead beneath the mage city of Dalaran to the north.

The foothills themselves are open country of fields, farms and woods. Gray bears, moss creepers and mountain lions are common outside Tarren Mill and are the targets of several of Lydon's quests.

Places of note

• Tarren Mill: the Forsaken town and quest hub (Apothecary Lydon, High Executor Darthalia, Deathguard Humbert, Krusk, Melisara).
• Hillsbrad Fields: human farmland west and southwest of Tarren Mill, home to Farmer Ray, Farmer Getz and their farmhands.
• Southshore: a human town beside the river.
• Nethander Stead: farmland south of Tarren Mill and east of the river, where Mudsnout Blossoms grow.
• Durnholde Keep: ruins southeast of Tarren Mill, across the river, now a Syndicate stronghold.
• Dun Garok: a dwarven outpost.
• Dalaran: the city of the Kirin Tor, to the north.
